My baby loves this toy and I have to say, I find it interesting as well. Each petal can be turned on the cord and you can make a variety of shapes with it. My son really loves the mirrors and the soft sound the bells make. When he is in his car seat, I like to turn all the petals up and put it on his wrist. He plays with it for quite a long time. It also makes a great teether and my son seems to prefer chewing on it from the pointed ends. He always gets very excited when he sees it. Overall, a great choice in "safe" toys!
Lots of fun for little handsJun 14, 2008
We bought this, along with two other HABA toys, to replace some plastic baby toys we had. This is a lot of fun for my daughters (one is 3 months old, the other is almost 3). The pieces rotate around the sturdy string and have little mirrored pieces embedded into three of them, while the other three have little bells. It is well-made and has withstood abuse from the kids. My daughter is a bit young to hold onto it yet -- it is probably more for older babies -- but she enjoys trying to gnaw on it and my older daughter likes to flip the pieces around. It's colorful and a good choice if you're looking for fun, sturdy wooden toys.

Haba makes the most beautiful toys for babies. We love the colors and designs on this clutching toy. The petals spin around on elastic cord, so there are countless configurations this can make. The wood is slick and shiny, I love the feel and look of it.

HABA makes great quality items. This product should be used more as a toy than as a rattle or teether.

I bought this toy for my 1 year old to attach to the cart cover when we are out running errands. She loves it. It makes very loud crinkle noises, and she loves to squeeze the little dragon. It is a little hard to unzip, but in time I think she will master that as well. It is the perfect size for attachment toys (strollers, carseat, shpping carts, etc.).
